Deprexis as adjunctive treatment tool for psychotherapists?

A randomized controlled trial examined whether experienced psychotherapists can use one of GAIA’s interventions (Deprexis) to augment or enhance their normal depression treatment. The study was conducted over several years and directed by leading psychotherapy researchers in Switzerland (Professor Berger, Bern, and Professor Maercker, Zürich). This was a collaborative project by GAIA and Germany’s largest psychotherapists’ association, the DPtV, located in Berlin. First analyses have been conducted, and all parties are eagerly anticipating the results of this clinically important RCT.
